Melody Powell is a Disabled Pansexual Woman who is passionate about fighting for diversity, inclusion and representation. As an activist she highlights the importance of seeing all aspects of a persons identity such as the intersection between disability, sexuality, neurodivergence and mental health.
As part of a collaboration between mental health charity Mental Health Matters and LGBTQ+ disability empowerment charity ParaPride for International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we are sharing the lived experiences of disabled people who have faced mental health challenges.
