Corporate Giving

As part of an often overlooked community, it won’t likely come as a surprise to hear our work is also often overlooked, especially when it comes to funding. Because of this our volunteers make a great effort to seek out grants when available, undertake community fundraising activities and importantly, to do a lot with the little resources we have available to us. In addition to this our work is also supported by some incredible and generous organisations in a range of different ways (financial and non-financial), enabling our corporate partner's brands and their teams to be involved in social good programmes which benefit our LGBTQ+ disabled community.

We are a small but mighty team who dedicate ourselves to changing the world for LGBTQ+ disabled and all other marginalised intersectional identities. No one should be left behind or left out and if we can top this from happening, society will be better for it. But we can't do it alone, we need the skills, funding and tools that our partnerships provide to be able to continue to deliver our important work. Your workplace's commitment, big or small, would deliver positive impact for LGBTQ+ and disabled people everywhere.

For a lot of employees work is more important that collecting a wage and with more workplaces realising this it is becoming evermore relevant for employers to provide positive experiences for their teams outside of their own businesses.

Involving employees in ParaPride's work boosts morale and creates a sense of camaraderie. With diversity and inclusion programs making workplaces more completive for talented people a partnership with us can be a way to set yours apart from another.

Customers expect more from the brands they buy from than a transaction, they want to see that their money goes to support companies who share their values.

Partnering with ParaPride creates great opportunities to share stories that connect directly to customers reminding them of who your band is and what they stand for. Celebrating charitable partnership activities also offers ways for business to reach new audiences.

Types of support your organisation can offer

Fundraising activities come in all shapes and sizes and are great way to provide one-off or seasonal contributions for good on behalf of your organisation. In many cases, businesses can also apply for corporation tax relief for their donations.

With a bit of creativity, fundraising events can be enjoyable and engaging activities that can also linked to goals and/or split across teams to add some competitive spirt. Some activities can also incorporate social, physical or learning challenges and team work exercises. We welcome you to design your own activity but if you would like our support for this, we are happy to help.

With prior agreement, ParaPride can provide participation awards, tools to collect donations and marketing to support your efforts.

The majority of corporate donations that ParaPride receives comes in the form of donated or discounted goods and pro-bono services. Our partners team members welcome the opportunity to explore and develop skills in a new but safe and welcoming environment.

We have previously worked with a range of companies from merchandise producers to software companies to law firms to videographers and photographers and welcome suggestions of how your organisation could contribute to our work.

We have had a lot of success working with organisations to support their trainee programs.

Trainee Programs

Event sponsorship of one of our themed online webinars – either for existing users of

our services or an event organised for your employees and/or other organisations

• A 100-word written profile and corporate logo of your organisation included in the

event materials and/or communications

• Promotion of the event in our member newsletter

• An opportunity for a company executive to present an introduction at the beginning of

the event, including sharing information about your internal initiatives around

LGBTQ+ and disabled communities

• A staff member from your organisation is also encouraged to speak about their lived

experience at the event, if they have are LGBTQ+ and disabled

• Includes preparation of materials and content delivered by Parapride

• Does not include the cost or any expenses related to any other external speakers

Other opportunities

Where mutually agreed, we are able to provide advice, training and workshops as well as marketing opportunities in exchange of corporate gifts.
